[12:16] This episode’s Feeling Good Superhero is Carol. Carol was Dr. Phil’s patient who was suffering from chronic fatigue and fibromyalgia, but she wasn’t finding the help she needed. She was living a miserable life and many people told her that nothing was really wrong with her. She had to quit teaching school and was having difficulty caring for her family. No one had talked to Carol about adrenal fatigue and so they ordered the test and her adrenals were almost to the point of adrenal failure. She started taking some supplements to help her adrenals and Dr. Phil helped her with her diet and got her on the right track. After a few weeks she called and she was so excited because that day she was able to walk down to her driveway and get the mail without being winded. This was a major milestone for her. She continued to make progress and was able to go back to teaching, taking care of her family, and got her life back.
[15:43] The greatest joys in life come not from you being lifted by others, but rather by others being lifted by you.
